The incumbent will provide counseling to children who are victims or witnesses of domestic violence or assault in collaboration with a number of community partners. Spanish speaking candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Requires a Master's Degree from an accredited school of social work with specialized training in psychiatric social work with children and their families, plus 3,000 hours post-master's degree supervised psychotherapy experience.
- Must have current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Professional Counselor (LPC) from the State of Wisconsin.
- Minimum of three years experience in the application of theory, practice, and techniques of behavioral health treatment services as applicable to children and families required. Previous outpatient therapy experience preferred.
This position is located at the Sojourner Family Peace Center located at 619 West Walnut Street in Milwaukee.
